And......She's Off and Running!!!

I must apologize for the delay in this post and it is the most exciting one to share!  Year-end for us accountants is not kind and thankfully our families are so helpful that I was able to survive the big audit of 2011.....ALTHOUGH, I feel I got to only see her about two weeks out of the whole month---there was big news to share from month 11  :o)

And just like that Madelyn woke up one morning and went to school and decided to start walking all day instead of just the baby steps.  It was like she knew she could do it the whole time and was waiting for what day she felt it most appropriate to share it with others.  So here, is the big video that I promised in the last blog :o)

This was my favorite of her in her squeaky shoes and how she likes to hear them so she starts dancing :o)

Just you all wait and see by the next update how she's pretty much running everywhere now!  But that will just have wait so I don't get ahead of myself.

Aside from that,  other cute moments to share are how she's starting to mimic animal sounds and the Pillsbury dough boy sound.  We have a fabric book with different animal scenes that she likes to make the sounds of the animal when we play with them.  There is a monkey that she likes to move up and down the tree, a lion and alligator that we chomp the mouth open and closed and the cows on the farm that goes "moo" when you squeeze it.  It is soooo cute!  Another really cute thing we started one day while playing in the living room we would poke the lion paw print on the belly of my shirt and make the Pillsbury dough boy sound.  Now we make that sound and she will repeat and poke her own or your belly!  It is so stinking cute!  I love it!

Other than that, she is steadily getting bigger and longer and more grown up.  She's like 20 pounds and 3 feet tall!  Growing like a weed!  When I'm holding her while she sleeps, her head is on my shoulder and I swear her toes reach the top of my thighs and it makes me feel like I'm holding a kindergartner!  My, my.......how time has passed  :o(.............
